How it works: Total price = Design & Cut (vinyl prepared, transfer tape pre-applied) + Application method (self-applied or installed). All amounts are from and vary by text length, overall graphic size, and design complexity (logos, special fonts, multiple colours).

Step-by-Step (dry method)

  1. Clean the surface — Wash with warm soapy water, rinse, dry; then use the supplied deep cleaner with firm pressure. Finally, wipe again with the lighter application fluid.
  2. Position the vinyl — Place two small masking tape tabs on top; visually align. Measure from fixed body lines/edges to make it level; adjust and re-check both ends.
  3. Hinge the vinyl — Run a masking tape strip across the top edge (half on the graphic, half on the vehicle) and press it down firmly.
  4. Peel the backing — Lift the graphic, peel the backing paper halfway, keeping the vinyl tight to avoid wrinkles.
  5. Apply the exposed section with a plastic squeegee — Start from the centre and work outward in smooth, overlapping strokes.
  6. Continue in sections — Gradually peel more backing paper and apply the vinyl until fully adhered.
  7. After 30 minutes — Peel the transfer tape back slowly at ~45°.
  8. Cold weather tip — In low temperatures, gently warm the vinyl with a hairdryer/heat gun before peeling the transfer tape to improve adhesion.

💡 Tips & Warnings

  • Apply only in suitable weather: 10°C–25°C, no rain or wind, avoid direct sunlight or hot surfaces.
  • Use the included practice decal before applying the main vinyl.
  • Work slowly from the centre outward to avoid bubbles.
  • Use a plastic squeegee with soft edges to prevent scratches.
  • If the transfer tape is too sticky, warm the area slightly with a hairdryer before peeling.
  • For easier application, large designs can be split into multiple sections if size and layout allow.

  • Self-application disclaimer: DIY installs are at customer’s own risk (we’re not liable for bubbles/misalignment/damage from handling).
  • Instructions provided: Printed guide and a practice decal are included; please read before applying.
  • No refunds on custom vinyl: Custom-made items are non-refundable once cut. Design fees are non-refundable.
  • Weather conditions: If we install, appointments may be rescheduled for rain/wind/cold.
  • Surface condition: Panels must be clean, wax-free and undamaged; adhesion issues from poor prep are not covered.
  • Turnaround: Typically 2–5 working days from design approval; delivery/installation confirmed individually.
  • Portfolio use: We may showcase your vehicle design unless you request otherwise.
